September 22, 2024We stopped for a pizza... but they only make it in the evening.Then we were offered the fixed price menu.Never was a more appropriate choice!4 braised meat with polenta and 2 casoncelli Bergamo style.House wine. Optimal. 6 coffees. Mineral water.Service, quality, price: All excellent.The ambience is missing a star because we wanted to be outdoors... but not having booked it wasn't possible. But overall a great lunch! Thanks to the staff.

I was in Sotto il Monte for a pilgrimage to the places of Pope John, I booked in this restaurant, among other things the last free table. I ate well, the waitress was very kind and the price was right. Advised.

Sober and very clean environment, friendly and very polite staff. Abundant and very tasty dishes. Normal waiting times. A business lunch at 13 with first/second/side dish and water and coffee seems very honest to me considering that we are in a well-known tourist location, a pilgrimage destination.

Every time we go to visit the house of the Good Pope we stop for lunch here. Great prices, fabulous food and polite, accommodating staff.I recommend the casoncelli alla bergamo!

I had Easter lunch 2025 with my wife.Excellent welcome from the owners.Excellent dishes, very hot and plentiful.I recommend trying.I will certainly return.
